Accessories: A Full Breakdown

1. The RoboUP Garage

This is your mower's cozy home for the charging station. The garage is designed to protect the Raccoon 2 SE from sun, rain, and daily wear, extending its lifespan naturally. Think of it as a simple shelter that keeps the mower in better condition over the long term.

Strengths:

1. Provides all-round outdoor protection.

2. Keeps the charging station shaded and dry.

3. Helps maintain stable performance and longer product life.

How to Use:

1. Install the garage directly on top of the charging station. If you store your mower indoors for winter, you only need to remove the cover.

Tips from RoboUP:

1. Only use the Official RoboUP Garage. DIY covers or third-party canopies can block the front sensors, leading to docking issues or return-to-base failures.

How to Install:

1. Attach the connector on top of the charging station.

2. Secure it using four screws.

3. Place the garage cover onto the connector.

4. Fasten with the final two screws.

2. Ground Stakes

A clean, natural way to guide your mower. Ground stakes help define edges in areas where the lawn doesn't have clear boundaries. They also let you create no-go zones in special areas, like spots under a trampoline or newly seeded soil.

Strengths:

1. Helps the mower read where it should and shouldn’t go.

2. Prevents wandering into soil, leaf piles, or bare patches.

3. Allows you to protect delicate areas inside the lawn.

How to Use:

1. Screw each stake into the soil anywhere you want to mark a boundary. Space them roughly 40cm apart.

Tips from RoboUP:

1. Keep the grass around each stake short and clean so the camera can recognize the boundary properly.

How to Install:

1. Pull out the stake head.

2. Insert it into the stake cover in reverse.

3. Screw the stake vertically into the soil.

4. Repeat at 40cm intervals along your chosen path.

3. Replaceable Front Wheels

A refresh for long-term performance. Front wheels naturally wear down over months or years depending on terrain. Replacing them keeps the mower moving smoothly and looking clean.

Strengths:

1. Maintains proper traction and movement.

2. Prevents uneven turning or unnecessary strain.

3. Keeps the mower looking new.

How to Use:

1. Replace when you see visible flattening, wobbling, or wear.

How to Install:

1. Turn the mower upside down.

2. Remove the wheel’s decorative cover.

3. Unscrew the four screws holding the wheel.

4. Remove and replace the wheel hub cover.

4. Replacement Blades

Sharp blades, clean cuts, healthier grass. The blades are designed to be easily replaceable so your lawn always gets a clean trim. Fresh blades are safer, more precise, and better for your lawn’s long-term health.

Strengths:

1. Maintains cutting quality.

2. Reduces strain on the motor.

3. Keeps grass healthier and greener.

How to Use:

1. Each blade has two slots, flip to the second one before replacing entirely.

2. Replace every 2 weeks for normal use, or replace every 4 weeks if the blades still appear sharp.

3. Flip to second slot before installing new ones.

How to Install:

1. Turn the mower upside down.

2. Unscrew and remove the worn blade.

3. Install the new blade securely.

4. Make sure all screws are tight before use.

Cutting Height: Getting the Perfect Lawn Look

The Raccoon 2 SE offers an adjustable cutting height from 30-80mm (1.2–3.1 inches). This range gives you flexibility to match different grass types, seasons, and preferences. Adjusting the height is simple and tool-free, meaning anyone can set it without technical knowledge.

Why Height Matters

1. Shorter cuts create a clean, carpet-like look.

2. Medium height helps grass stay strong in hot weather.

3. Higher settings protect lawns during drought or heat.

4. Different regions prefer different heights.

Quick guidelines

1. Early season: 60-70mm

2. Summer heat: 50-60mm

3. Final autumn cuts: 40-50mm

4. Decorative lawns: 30-40mm

*How you want your lawn is entirely up to your preference.
