Frances C. - 2024/10/12
Welcome to RoboUP’s Garden Defense League, where every gardener has the power to level up and protect their garden from wild animals. Each level gets more difficult as you progress, so make sure to prepare yourselves! Your mission? Keep your garden flourishing by facing off against five common wild animals that could destroy your plants. Each challenge is like a new level to conquer, and with the right strategies, you can outsmart these garden foes. Let’s dive into the game, and unlock the secrets on how to keep your flowers and veggies safe!
Level 1: The Gopher’s Underground Assault
First up, we face the sneaky gopher, a common wild animal in Texas. Mastering the art of stealth, this underground tunnel-digger quietly munches on your plant roots without you noticing until it's too late. To protect your garden from gophers, you’ll need traps or barriers like underground wire mesh to block its path. Alternatively, you can set up decoy plants that it prefers to snack on, leaving your garden undisturbed.
Level 2: The Deer’s Midnight Feast
You’re out enjoying the day, but the White-tailed Deer comes to dine at night, these garden invaders are generally found in USA and Canada! These tall invaders love munching on your trees and shrubs. So, how do we level up from here? Try setting up motion-activated lights or sprinklers to scare them off. Deer-proof fencing also makes this level a breeze to conquer. You could also turn on your RoboUP’s night mode to deter them without harming these adorable wild animals. Once you send the deer away, you're ready for the next level!
Level 3: Rabbit’s Rapid Raid
Now, here’s a fast-moving opponent! Rabbits are a group of wild animals that are commonly divided into groups with similar characteristics. They hop right into your garden, helping themselves to your tender vegetables. You can try building a low fence so they can’t jump over, or you can surround your plants with rabbit-resistant materials like netting to avoid the invasion of rabbits. Another approach is to plant flowers they dislike, such as marigolds , which naturally deter rabbits. Outsmart the rabbit, and you’ll move on to level 4!
Level 4: Squirrel’s Sneaky Snatch
The cheeky Squirrel is not only adorable but also quite the cunning thief. Squirrel is a common wild garden animal. With their nimble movements, they swoop into your garden to snatch nuts, seeds, and fruits. To counter their antics, safeguard your plants with wire cages or mesh. Squirrel-proof bird feeders can prevent them from pilfering your seeds as well. Once you’ve thwarted their tricky schemes, you’ll be prepared to tackle the final level!
Level 5: The Sluggish Snail Invasion
The final boss? The slow but steady Snail. They may not move fast, but they’ll chew up your plants in no time. Get ready to deploy slug and snail traps, like beer traps (yep, snails love beer!), or sprinkle crushed eggshells around your plants to get rid of them. Once you’ve sent the snail off to its own universe, you’ve completed the game! Here are the tips for how to keep snail out of your garden and protect your plants.
